The Shromosri Scheme, also called Shramshree, is a welfare program started by the Government of West Bengal on 18 August 2025. It is made to help Bengali migrant workers who returned home after facing problems and discrimination in other states.

Key Features & Benefits

Monthly Allowance – ₹5,000 per month for up to 12 months, until the worker finds stable employment.
Employment Support – Job Cards, skill training, and government-supported self-employment opportunities.
Additional Welfare – Coverage under Khadyasathi (food security) and Swasthyasathi (health insurance).

How to registered as Migrant Worker(Pariyayi Shromik)

This is the first and mandatory step.

1.Amader Para Amader Samadhan Camps (easiest method)

Submit the Migrant Worker Registration Form.
Family members can also submit if the worker is outside Bengal.

2.Submit Online application at Karma Sathi Portal – karmasathips.wblabour.gov.in

3. Shramshree Mobile App – Can also be used for registration, but often has technical issues.

Go to Karmasath portal or Download the Shromosri (Shramshree) App
Login/Register with mobile number + OTP.
Fill Personal Details (Name, Aadhaar, DOB, etc.).
Enter Address & Migration Details (where you worked, when you returned).
Work & Wage Information (type of job, employer, or self-employment).
Bank & Nominee Details (bank account + nominee Aadhaar).
Choose Benefits (monthly allowance, training, loans, etc.).
Upload Photo, Adhar Card, Bank Passbook, Voter Card.
Final Submit – Get confirmation SMS & MWIN Temporary ID.
